Kosovo Interior Affairs Minister Agim Veliu's taskmaster has come to the defense of journalist Valon Syla, who is physically attacked today.
Veliu has said that despite the fact that thoughts are sometimes unacceptable, he condemns the physical attack on journalist Syla.
He said freedom of expression and the work of journalists should be respected and protected as democratic values.
He has also said he will commit such attacks on journalists not to repeat.

Despite statements and thoughts sometimes not acceptable to all of us, I strongly condemn the physical attack on journalist Valon Syla.
Freedom of expression and the work of journalists should be respected and protected as democratic values for our society and country.
I will be fully committed to making such attacks on journalists stop repeating and offer my full support to security institutions so that as soon as they take all the necessary actions in this case.
