Osman message to international end: Citing Serbian War, Violence in Kosovo

President Vjosa Osmani's duty has made a message of the end-of-year to international allies and friends.

Through a video that has posted on its Facebook account, she has said Serbia has committed systemic violence sponsored by the state against the people of Kosovo.

“Throughout our history, the people of Kosovo have consistently demonstrated a strong desire for peace, stability and justice. As peace has been achieved, the struggle for the truth continues. After more than two decades, Kosovo wounds cannot be healed without justice”.

And today, we have thousands of women living on the unfair stigma because they were raped by Serb forces during the war. While no single person has been prosecuted for this disgusting crime”.

For these women who continue to suffer in silence, I am committed to becoming their voice. Still today, we have parents who want to know the whereabouts of 1600 missing Kosovars”.

“Photos of their beloved children, brothers, sisters, and parents hang on their walls as a way to remind their relatives who are still missing. They live in the hope that one day they will find justice”.

Serbia committed systematic state-sponsored violence against our people. This resulted in more than 13,000 civil population killings during the war, 1133 of whom were children”.

Because of this, we seek your support in our pursuit of justice for war crimes and Serbian genocide, as well as our search for responsibility for our missing persons”.
