So far since the launch of pandemic, 2,028,354 infected with COVID-19 have been registered.
While the dead in the last 24 hours are 459, 6 less than a day ago, bringing the total number of victims to 71,359.
Since yesterday, December 24th, Italy has been a red zone.
From December 24th to January 6th, the whole country will be defined as a red zone and another 4 as an orange zone.
To get out of the homes, citizens in Italy will need authorization, while order forces have increased road controls.
