The vaccine against Avid-19 that has begun in northern Kosovo by the government of Serbia is a blow to the sovereignty of our state and grave insult to our citizens.

This is the third time, in a few months, that Serbia, on behalf of the pandemic, violates the sovereignty of our state.

It is the third time that the past two governments, Hoti and Kurti, submitted to Serbia's actions and to the expense of the Republic of Kosovo.

This way of delving Serbia into Kosovo once by test, then by health personnel, and today by vaccines, scatters Serbia's strategy, which through pandemic, violates and weakens Kosovo's sovereignty and advances its agenda against our state.

With the tolerance and silence of the past two governments, step by step, Aleksandar Vucic is portraying Serbia as a humanist, trying to cover its genocide past in Kosovo before the world.

It is imperative that Prime Minister Hoti clear up before Kosovo citizens how Vucic from Belgrade began vaccinating citizens in northern Kosovo?

Why this slow response in the face of violation of sovereignty?

It is hard and unforgivable to see how the two prime ministers, Hoti and Kurti, cowered before Vucici and renounced the state sovereignty of the Republic of Kosovo, for which much was sacrificed, over many generations.

It is frustrating for our citizens to see how an enemy government of Kosovo enters Kosovo, vaccinates against Covid-19, and other citizens of the Republic of Kosovo have not only begun to be vaccinated, but have not even the smallest information on when the vaccine from the state of Kosovo will begin.

Knowing that vaccine is the only way to end pandemic, the highest priority of this government would be to provide the vaccine.

The demand for such a vaccine is extremely high.

States have long been racing to provide this important vaccine for their citizens.

With its inactions, the Hoti Government is jeopardising that the state of Kosovo will begin its latest vaccine in Europe and complete its recent vaccine in Europe.

In terms of time, vaccination will begin in 2021 and eventually end in 2022.

The Hoti government, with total responsibility to the pandemic, and without a plan of action, is allowing our citizens to face endless isolation and restrictive measures.

Non-safety of vaccines for all Kosovo citizens has health consequences and economic consequences almost incalculable and extremely serious.

While Kosovo today has zero vaccines, the European Commission has already secured over 2 billion doses of vaccine, and most EU member states have begun the vaccine.

While Kosovo today has zero vaccines, countries in the region have already bought vaccines, initiated vaccine programmes in December and January, but only the Government of Kosovo has no accurate answer to when and when the vaccine will end.

The lack of vaccines, unfortunately, allows our citizens to face deadlines, leaves health workers daily exposed to danger, and deepens the crisis towards economic bankruptcy.

This is a clear indication of the inadequacy, lack of vision, lack of care and full responsibility of these people towards the health, economy and welfare of our citizens.

It is imperative that Kosovo urgently provide vaccines for the entire population, and not just for part of it, as the vaccine is claimed to have been provided for only 20 percent of the population.

It is necessary to invest in the cooling chain and in personnel training, namely, to create all the conditions for storage and distribution of vaccines throughout Kosovo.

Not to have centralization as in the case of tests, only in Pristina, long queues of waiting.

It also requires a continuous communication plan to inform all citizens of the phases of the vaccine program, not as we are today, when everything is nontransparent and timeless.

The lack of investments in confronting Avid-19 of the government Hoti, as well as the Kurti Government, are evidence of the inability and vision to end the pandemic, whose effects they have carried and are carrying to our citizens.
