Barcelona's side defender, who is loaned to PAOK in the Greek Superleague, has been hitting the kneebar as he pulled a ball.
The right-wing defender has undergone knee surgery and will now remain in Barcelona for about nine months before turning into action.
“FC Barcelona player Moussa Wague, borrowed this season at PAOK Salonica, has successfully underwent an operation this Saturday morning to repair and rebuild the pellus barment on his right knee. The operation was conducted by Dr Ramon Cupas under the supervision of the FC Barcelona medical team.
