Already in six (6) regional public health centres: Peja, Gjakova, Prizren, Ferizaj, Gjilan and Mitrovica have sent new equipment (PCR) for conducting molecular tests. Also, antibody corporal test instruments ( IgG and IgM at all these centers, increasing the testing power with the purpose of diagnosing COVID-19, but also researching population immunological status versus COVID-19.

These devices, acquired through the Kosovar Health Project from borrowing from the World Bank, accompanied by guitars, serological tests, extenuating material and other equipment, will provide health professionals across the country with access to more tests, while population opportunities for more services with the aim of preventing and treating infection.

As the testing capacity is increasing significantly, the situation we are in is right for citizens to have just, reliable, and co-operating with each other and not to create a panic and confusion in the opinion with unreal information as if in the case of oxygen supply. The Republic of Kosovo, in the health system, provides enough oxygen for our patients, without panic or interference, because it is our obligation.

All of our health institutions make regular oxygen supplies, guaranteeing the lives of our patients, conforming laws. The deployment of new tanks from SHSKUK, where oxygen capacity will increase for approximately 20 thousand liters at this time of seasonal flu, I extend an invitation to citizens who fall into priority categories to be vaccinated against seasonal flu as the most effective way to prevent it. Also from today and according to municipality rankings based on the number of infected week by 100,000, we have 21 municipalities in the red zone, 10 municipalities in the yellow area and 7 municipalities in the green zone.
