AAK Parliamentary Group chief Daut Haradinaj has said the Constitutional Court's act in the case of MP Etem Arifi is a bit strange because for the first time, he receives the mandate of 120 deputies.
It's a bit of a weird decision, but we as AAK respect this decision as they have respected all other subjects. However, this decision does not exactly clarify what happens to other MPs who have had a problem with law”, he has said, adding that by this decision, the Court has taken the mandate of 120 Kosovo deputies.
“Logically, we're certified by the CEC and the moment they do this, then I'm mandated for deputy. Did the CEC commit a violation when Etem Arifin was certified as an MP, that's the CEC's. But what the Constitutional Court looks like in this case has added a portion to our Constitution”, Haradinaj said in RTK.
According to him, the AAK is ready for election and has taken all measures.
“We have taken all measures and will be a surprise to these elections”, the AAK MP chief said.
