Albania's Prime Minister, Edi Rama, has announced that an agreement has been reached with Pfizer to launch the vaccine in January.
“Under extremely difficult conditions as a result of the staggering global demand and the still extremely small amount of production, we agreed in principle after intensive contacts from all four sides, text of the Pfizer agreement to launch vaccines in January!”.
The head of the Albanian government has criticised the EU for differentiating the Balkans, until it has added that it will not stop until the last dose is secured.
“Unacceptably morally, politically, logically differentiation that the EU made for the Balkans is making, however, with diplomacy and insist on not being left behind. And we're not going to stop until we get the last dose. Words against those who went on to insult and accuse!” wrote Rama on Twitter.
Unmorally, politically, logically differentiation that the EU made for the Balkans, we were making it through diplomacy and insist on not being left behind. And we're not going to stop until we get the last dose. Words of contempt to those who went on with reproach and accusation!
