The defender of Naples, Elseid Hysay, has reportedly become Rome's target for defence reinforcement.
According to “Gazzetta dello Sport”, the Albanian is on the radar of Romans who want to improve defence. Rome's coach, Paolo Fonseca, has chosen the 3-4-3 formation and seems to have had reason for this choice, broadcast news.net.
The reason might be that Fonseca doesn't trust wing defenders and now Rome wants to bring in quality by buying a player like Hysa. Perhaps with the introduction of Hysa on the team, “Giaillorosses” can be returned to the preferred 6-3 formation.
Rome has named Tiago Pinto from Benfya as the club's general manager and he is already working to sign new players in the transitional January deadline.
Bryan Reynolds of FC Dallas was originally the target of the Romans and reports that the offer was accepted, but the player's agent has become a problem with the high demand for the 19-year-old.
Elseid Hysaj is another player on the Rome shopping list, as the Albanian representative is expected to leave Naples as a free player at the end of his contract next summer, and it appears to be a good and less costly option.
His agent Mario Giuffred told him about “Football Italy” that the defender's priority is to seek the best possible offer, and, Rome is considering to sign it as a free player or in the January transitional deadline for a low sum.
