The boy's name was Charlie Morgan, 17-year-old son of Swansea's multimillion-dollar director, Martin Morgan.
The number of Morgan followers on social networks rose from 600 to 100,000 as a result of the incident.
He appeared in several newspapers recently after details about his luxury lifestyle, including vacations and expensive cars, spread.
