Cakaya: Serbia, not Kosovo, needs International Tribunal for Special Court

Albania's acting minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, has held a meeting with Kosovo's Ambassador to the Netherlands, Freedom Greicevci, with whom he has discussed recent news from the Special. Cakaj has written on a Facebook post that the International Tribunal of the Special Court needs [...]

Cakaj, in a Facebook post, has written that Serbia needs all atrocities committed in Kosovo, not Kosovo, for its liberation war, for the International Court.

“Meanwhile, crimes against humanity, ethnic cleansing and the genocide of Serbia in Kosovo, not only have they not been investigated enough, but today they are not generally mentioned at all, and the international community mostly remains silent before them”, he wrote.

During my stay in The Hague, I also held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in the Netherlands, Freedom Greicevci, to talk about the latest news by the Special Court!

War crimes in Kosovo have been investigated and tried by UMNIC, EULEX, The Hague Tribunal, local justice. The Special Court, therefore, not only takes over to investigate and re-judge a party that has closed resources with international justice for two decades in a row, but also makes it completely biased by targeting only KLA and Kosovo structures in general. This approach, then, has nothing to do with truth or justice. That's it.

Meanwhile, crimes against humanity, ethnic cleansing and Serbia's genocide in Kosovo, not only have they not been investigated and tried enough, but they are generally not mentioned at all and the international community largely remains silent before them.

For the International Tribunal and Special Court, Serbia needs all atrocities committed in Kosovo, not Kosovo for its liberation fight!

Despite that, it must be stressed that the history of the Republic of Kosovo and Albanians, no one can write it!

Albania's full support and solidarity with Kosovo under these not easy circumstances for the entire Albanian nation.
