Albania approves agreement: Albania-Serbia free movement with ID alone

The Council of Ministers has approved at yesterday's meeting agreement on Albania-Serbia free movement with ID cards. This agreement was signed in November between Prime Minister Edi Rama and Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, during the Balkan Schengen meeting online, in the presence of Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev.
Rama called this agreement an important step because Albanians will have free movement with Balkan countries, including Serbia.

Council of Ministers decision: The adoption of the amendment agreement between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the government of the Republic of Serbia for the bilateral movement of citizens ratified with the No.10474 law, dated 27.10.2011.
In support of Article 100 of the Constitution and Article 19 of law No.43/2016, “for international agreements in the Republic of Albania”, with the proposal of Prime Minister and Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Council of Ministers decided:
The adoption of the amendment agreement, between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the government of the Republic of Serbia, for the mutual movement of citizens, ratified with law No.10474, the 2710.2011, according to the text linking that decision.
This decision comes into force after publication in “Official Font”.
