This survey puts France even lower than Russia, where the percentage is 43 or South Africa, where the percentage is 53.
Several other countries, such as China or Britain, have an incomparable higher percentage of 80, 77 writes, respectively, the Periscope.
Fear of side effects is the majority reason not to take the vaccine, the survey says.
Historically France has high levels of scepticism against vaccines.
France's Health Minister Oliver Veran had earlier said: “just as we should vaccinate against Covid, we should be vaccinated against fear and that's my responsibility. I think the only form to fight fear is with good information.” /Periscope
