Since the post-war, most football players in Kosovo have never needed bank accounts at all.
Club owners usually paid cash.
This phenomenon, the players are looking at the fight now because their account in the pension Trust is almost empty.
Burim Sadiku, former goalkeeper for several teams known in Kosovo, says that throughout his career, there are only 350 euros in Trust.
I played 15 years of active soccer, which means I was the first goalkeeper and I played regularly. I can only withdraw 35 euros because I have 350 euros in the Trust. This money came to me recently, I played at Drenica's Fernikel” Sadiku said of Indexline.
Since Kosovo's accession to UEFA and FIFA this situation has changed.
Teams must pay players through the bank, otherwise they cannot be licensed to participate in international competitions.
