Mattia Agnes, 17, has received the Fifa Fair Play Award Award Award Award Award Awards of Award 2020 for an exciting motive.
Last January 25th, during a football match between Cereica and Ossandalettet Calcio the young man has saved his opponent's life.
After a collision in the field, the opponent fell to the ground, lost consciousness, and stopped rising. Agnes gave her first aid saving her life, a great gesture but that the young man has not lost his humility: “I am not a hero” he modestly said.
It seemed the right thing to do. I'm not a hero. My life didn't change, I'm always the same, I do the same things. Be a soccer player? We're training hard”, he said during a web connection while handing over the prize to Ruud Gulli.
