Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq has applied to visit Kosovo today, accompanied by two of his troubled people in relation to Kosovo, Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin and Marko Djuric, as well as the chief of the so-called Office for Kosovo in Serbia's Government, Petar Petkoviq.
Our sources have made it known that the request was made through the Liaison Office of Serbia in Kosovo, as envisioned in Brussels' agreement on such visits. Vucciq asked that Kosovo to secure its police escort team for escorts during stay in Kosovo also allows them to carry arms during this visit.
It is still unclear whether Vuciqi will be allowed this visit to Kosovo, following recent political developments, its statements with which it threatened the region with war, and especially after the discovery of the mass cemetery in the vicinity Raska in Serbia, with Albanian troops killed during war by Serbian forces in Kosovo. RTK has tried to get an answer from institutions on this request, but there is still no official response.
