Podujevo went to early elections after its chairman, Agim Veliu, left the post to become part of the government in February of this year. The Podujevo chairmanship event has been LVVA's Bulliqi, LDK's Nexmi Rudari, and Naim Fetah i PDK.
Hurry Bulqi will lead the municipality for eight months, until holding municipal elections throughout Kosovo, so late 2021.
