The former attacker of Crystal Palace and Fulham, Shefki Redi, has commented on the Vedat Muriq game, writes Insport.
Invited to “Sport in Klan Kosova”, Shefki Redi has spoken about Kosovo's star, Vedat Muriq, criticising him for the unselfish game he is playing.
“In my opinion, Muriqi 80% of the first part has spent on our field (at the meeting against Slovenia). He's coming too far in the back trying to lock himself at”.
This is a problem because we have the quick sides, but if it keeps coming back then we lose the speed of the sides” he said.
“I fully understand Muriqi that perhaps as an attacker I myself have made this mistake that it takes a long time without touching the ball, but Muriqi's capabilities should be closer to the opposing zone” he said.
Vedat Muriqi was one of Kosovo's best players in losing to Slovenia, where he even scored the only goal for “Therdians” in the 58th minute after a bailout of Bernard Berisha.
