Both former guards who have defended Manchester United's gate were on their way to see the challenge of the Champions League between Middleland and Ajax. Thus, 56-year-old Schmeticl and 50-year-old Van der Sar have met in the town of Herning.
The Dutchman is chief executive of the Amsterdam club, until famous Danish plays sports analyst.
The two who continue to be considered the best they have defended for the Red Days have distributed a common photograph on social networks.

“Look who I met in Herning Square...!” wrote Schmetichel in description.
During the past years of Unitedia (1991-1999), Schmeticl recorded 398 presentations winning five Premier League titles, three Cup FA and Champions League (as part of the famous tripleta).
On the other hand, Van der Sar played the Dream Theatre during 2005-2011 recording 266 presentations and won four titles of the Premier League and the Champions League in 2008.
