The state that recognises Kosovo's independence is participating in the “Adem Jashari” boxing tournament

Four semifinal duels took place on Saturday, while today final duels will also take place, with seven metres planned.

Kosovo Box Federation Secretary General Mehmet Bogujevci has talked about Kosova Preiss, about organising this tournament, the challenges that have been faced due to the Deved-19 pandemic, and the trouble boxing clubs have experienced due to lack of finance.

Boguyevci has expressed great happiness that in this edition of this tournament, 22nd in turn, Slovakia, which has not yet recognised Kosovo's independence, is also participating.

I am very pleased with Kosovo boxers because this year's pandemic has left us a lot behind, we as a federation have tried to keep as little in preparation for both the mountains and the coast and to some extent we have maintained our form and are our very good boxers prepared for this tournament. As you know, this is the 22nd consecutive tournament dedicated to our legendary commander, Adem Yasar, and this year it's a innovation because a country that does not recognise Kosovo as Slovakia... We have good relations with the Slovak federation and the president of the Slovak Federation has come and today he has been in the homazhe in Prekaz. Furthermore, Bogujevci stressed even the trouble facing Kosovo boxing clubs due to the Devov-19 financial pandemic.

Kosovo boxing clubs generally have financial problems because they are not well organised. Now after the funding law was passed, each club in its city can get sponsors, but this year's problem has been that even the pandemic, the economic situation is not good and that problem has become that problem.”, Bogujevci said.

Bogujevci has also discovered figures that have benefited boxing clubs after financial support from the Government of the Republic of Kosovo. He has said that from the package given by the government, boxing clubs will benefit from 1200 euros.

The clubs generally receive 1200 euros. The tools have not yet been distributed in federations, but the decision has been issued that all sports boxing clubs from 1,200 euros have aid.
