The Kosovo Liberation Army war was a fair fight in the face of aggression and crimes against humanity and ethnic cleansing that the Milosevic criminal regime was committing against the vulnerable population in Kosovo. Members of the KLA, participants in this uneven war, have faced and appeared fair on various charges that have been brought against them. Other fighters are facing today.

I am convinced that they too, since President Hashim Thaci, chairman of PDK Kadri Veselini, former Parliament Speaker Jakup Krasniqi and other KLA fighters, will prove justice and worldwide that the charges against them are groundless.

No one can equate the victim with the aggressor. No one can equal the KLA's fair fight for human dignity and freedom, with massacres and genocide exercised by Milosevic's criminal hordes against Kosovo's civilian population.

The KLA war had the North Atlantic Alliance at its side to the top of the US because it was a fair fight. Albanians had all the democratic countries of the world side by side and protection because most inhumane crimes were being committed against them.

No Kosovo Albanian is hiding from justice, but has faced and prevailed. I am convinced that once again the truth will prevail and that nothing will match the KLA's fair struggle for freedom.
