The chairman of the Kosovo Economic Ode, Berat Rukiqi, has said that all measures that have been taken without co-ordination with businesses have had major collateral damage. Rukiqi said around 20,000 businesses are closed this weekend, where losses are about 10/15m euros a day. [...]
Rukiqi said around 20,000 businesses are closed this weekend, where losses are about 10/15m euros a day.
The Chairman of OEK asked the Government to improve financial stimulus measures along with the tightening of measures.
“Today is closed to 20,000 businesses that will not work on weekends and that will have losses of about 10 to 15 million losses in the day.
This part of the tools that will not be spent here, this weekend will be used in the cities of the region, also seen at the border points where citizens have decided to spend this weekend in the region, that's the first issue of measures.
And the second problem is the recent announcement of the measures that have been taken and, as a result, thrown into food dumps because they have not been coordinated at all with businesses.
The third problem of the measures is imposing. All day long we've been trying and not finding out what small market is, and as a result, we have thousands of euros worth of fines in these businesses, where they don't logically work these brands.
If measures are taken we will respect like everyone else, but every country in the world is doing one more thing, financial stimulus measures, the urgent government should also approve a financial support for business”, he said.
