The PIGC prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into Lazio following suspicions that it violated the health protocol for protection against pandemic.
The case included Ciro Immobile, Lucas Leivan and Thomas Strakoshan, who were not allowed by the U. EFA travel to Russia and didn't even play against Bruges last week. But the negative tests had allowed them to play in Lazios 4:3's victory against Turin in Serie A, where Immobile scored a decisive goal at the end.
The Italian daily newspaper reports that the prosecutor's office interviewed Lazio's president, Claudio Lotto, and team doctor Ivo Pulcini, and confiscated reports of coronary tests that Lazio's players had handled prior to matches against Bruge and against Turin.
The seriousity of the violations is estimated according to the risk that players' health, staff, judges and all professionals are affected by the Avid-19 infection.
