Edward Latif found an abandoned bag in front of a store on Friday behind. Latif was with his wife and small son in Arbon of “The black Friday” when he observed a red bag in front of a store.
I immediately thought someone had lost it. I opened it to see if there was anything suspicious about it. When I opened it, I saw that there was a lot of money in it. I panicked when I saw all that money. My wife told me to calm down. I waited for a few minutes there with the idea that the owner could return and take it to the same location. Then I left for the police and handed over the bag”, the Kosovar said.
Latif, who made the exemplary gesture, has announced that the owner of the bag left 100 francs of tips for the gesture. Tungau Canton police have confirmed the case.
The red bag owner is an elderly woman. She was able to identify herself as the owner of the money and we gave her her the bag and its contents”, the police spokesman said.
