I am happy to sign this agreement to carry out a campaign that has never occurred in our country before, respectively, the campaign to plant 1.8 million trees, which we called “Let's give him the color box”. It's a 10-year campaign from today until 2030. Together with citizens, volunteer groups and Kosovo institutions, we will be everywhere to achieve our mission. Environment and sports are very connected, so we have joined forces like two organizations that engage for the common good”, he said.
Hasanaj further stated that our country needs to plant trees and that through this activity we want to change our country's appearance and image.

I don't think there's anybody in Kosovo who doesn't mind the lack of greenery in our cities, just as I don't think there's any way in Kosovo, which doesn't need to get greened, there's no country or mountain that's not destroyed by human hands. At the end of that, we want to change our country's image and image,” he said.
Kosovo Olympic Committee President Besim Hasani said the Kosovo Olympic Committee and the organisation to clean up Kosovo has joined common interest in accomplishing activities in a clean environment

““Cleaning Kosovo” has been proven as an organisation that has made extraordinary efforts for a cleaner environment in Kosovo, and since even Olympic Committee objectives are that all different races, different activities are organised in a clean environment, it has not been hard to join around implementing standards for a cleaner environment in Kosovo. We are united to create new synergy and I am convinced that every citizen will join us. We need co-operation with other institutions as well and from the beginning we have support from government and non-government organisations, as there is a need for comprehensive co-operation so that 1.8 million trees are planted over a decade as we have assigned it to the operational plan”, Hasani said.
Otherwise, the organisation “to clear Kosovo” has indicated that this project will apply to the whole country starting in the Pristina Community
