On Saturday the country recorded almost 32,000 new cases of coronaryism, its highest daily record since the beginning of the crisis. While today Italy has recorded + 29,907 new cases of infection, while 208 patients have passed away.
The total number of victims from the deadly virus increased to 38,000.
“We have 48 hours to approve further austerity measures”, Spranza said.
A new impasse, though not long as the one set in March, would probably be the only option to curb numbers, according to the minister.
The epidemiological curve is still too high. What bothers me most is absolute data, which shows a terrible cure”, he said.
