The Democratic Party of Kosovo has held urgent party meetings where it is being taught has decided that the top official of this party, Enver Hoxhaj, will be the task of the party chairman following President Kadri Wessel's resignation from this position.
Kadri Wessel, who is chairman of 2015 The PDK has resigned from politics today due to an indictment confirmed by the Special Court in The Hague.
The PDK is expected to come up with an official stance tonight over the party leadership issue.
Wessel, along with former President Hashim Thaci, who has resigned from the post today and with Vetevendosje Movement MP chief Rexhep Selimi today headed for The Hague.
During yesterday, former Kosovo Liberation Army General Staff spokeswoman Jakup Krasniqi has also been sent to The Hague.
