Deputy Finance Minister: In 2021 the economy will grow by 5.2 percent

The Commission for Buxhet and Transfere has been reviewing the draft law on budgetary divisions for the Kosovo Republic budget for next year.
Deputy Finance Minister Agim Krasniqi has declared that during 2021 the economy is expected to have a 5.2% increase.
He said that in 2021, there is also the economic recovery programme in the amount of 182m euros.
Krasniqi has clarified that the budget is prepared in co-ordination with the IMF.
With a review of the budgetary boundaries that took place in 2021-2023, we think that as the minister who has prepared a bill that is comprehensive and answers the challenges we have before us”, he said.
According to him, the bill is prepared in co-ordination with the IMF, and is prepared within the rules.
“We estimate that the economy in 2021 will grow at a rate of 5.2%. Even in 2021 the cost is the programme for economic recovery where a total of 182m euros has been approved, with a portion destined for the health sector”, he added.
