Norway's Omar Elabdelaoui came up positive for Coronavirus, leading to the government's decision to stop travel.
The team issued a statement Saturday evening expressing their disappointment with the decision to prevent them from travelling to play matches.
It was explained, however, that they would be allowed to leave Oslo to return to clubs where football players play.
It was unclear whether the players should be isolated for ten days before leaving the country.
The current team will not be able to travel for the match against Austria on Wednesday.
