Biden has recalled that in Kosovo a road has taken the name of his late son, Beau Biden, as a sign of gratitude for his commitment. He has also talked about the memorial of former US President Bill Clinton in Pristina.
After a stable year of serving as US legal official, he went to Kosovo, father, I will be a typical father there, a monument of over 3.5 meters dedicated to him, an important route that they built “Beau Biden”, for his dedication. My son returned home with a bunch of medals (for service), like many others before he lost his life”, Biden said.
On June 6, 2016, the Government of Kosovo had decided that the national route Gnjilan ʹ Ferizaj toia names “Beau Biden”. This was done with the proposal of then Prime Minister Isa Mustaf.
Mustafa, at the cabinet meeting, had said that the appointment of this very important road of Kosovo by the name of Beau Biden, was discussed at all levels and was a general mood for thanks and gratitude through this decision to all those who have contributed to the construction of institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, separately to the United States.
