This November 28th marks the fourth anniversary of one of the most tragic accidents in the sports worldOn November 23, 2016, the Chapecoense team celebrated the transition to the South American Cup finals, being content with a home draw against San Lorenzo.
That night, Marcos Danilo Padilha indicated once again that he was the team's top player, as he had received only four goals throughout the tournament, until his arrival in the final.
Historical qualifications prompted Chapecoen fans to change the first international title in their club's 43-year history, Atletico Nacional, in the final.
This dream turned to tragedy for them and the entire football world, when the plane carrying the Chapecoen team to Medwell (Collumb) crashed, leaving almost all passengers dead.
There were 77 people on the plane, and 71 lost their lives.
Hours after the accident, emergency teams arrived at the site where this tragedy had occurred. In their search, they found only three Chapecoen players, Alan Ruschel, the reserve goalkeeper, Jackson Falls and Neton alive.
For weeks, the football world has paid tribute to the victims of this tragedy, while the CONMEBOL, at the request of Atletico Nacional, declared the South American Cup champion Chapecosen without any finality.
