Wessel Visits Kamenica Busavata, Urges Kastrati to Open School

The president of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Kadri Veseli, has visited the “Hasan Pristina” school in Busavat in Kamenica, where he has invited the mayor of this municipality, Stand Kastract, to reflect on the opening of this school, and to enable students to start teaching.

I am from this school which has a symbolic name, Hossan Pristina, which has actually melted off its property, brought Kosovo's sons to the first Albanian schools of that time in the Elbasan normal, had also invited the mayor of the Kamenica municipality, stood by, not to receive it as a message from the political war, not anger with the director, not with the teacher, nor with the teacher, nor with the Busath, but to reflect in the way that we have given this opportunity, where we have the classroom before the students, come here, let the students come to the school, and let them come to the law only for the good of the citizens, there is a way to say, 1st of the 1st century.

Wessel has called on students to return to their banks quickly because it is necessary, since the school is still new.

I have to get the students back here as soon as I can find a reasonable language of communication with parents, with children, with educational staff... as soon as you get back to normality, it's good for the chairman, it's good for the education ministry, and it's necessary, because this school is just built, it's still the smell of lime”, Wessel said.

Wessel has said that every day there are provocations on the part of Serbs who are taking the border points, and this should serve as a message for children not to be discouraged but to be allowed to continue teaching.

“I'm here tonight for a message, here in Busavat, in Camenica, the border area where every day we have provocations from Serbia, the introduction of Serbian gendarmerie, in the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, so that children don't get discouraged in the continuation of their schools, the countries where they are border points, the parents are strongly encouraged, and the children live in those parts for reasons that are the strategic interest of the Republic of Kosovo to stay those children, those families, just like they're here in Buvasta, and all the border spaces I's speaking, the main part, the southern part of the Republic, it means that we have a strategic interest of our Albania, it says, it's a matter of our own matter.

While school principal “hasan Pristina”, Abednego Maliqi, with tears in his eyes, says that when the construction of this school had begun for him it was the greatest joy.

Our request is very simple, only normalizing the situation in our school. As you can see, we now have a new school, and this is amazing, and I don't think there's ever been a decision anywhere in the world where the Ministry of Education invests, to build the school facility, which by August 15th have given me the keys, against the fact that Stayn Kastrati has reacted to why I'm responsible, I don't know who could have me responsible. Where in my life greater joy even when my child was born than the day that the foundation of this school was started”, Malchi said.

Residents of the village of Busavata, educators and primary school students “Hasan Pristina” have sometimes protested, due to educational reforms undertaken by Chairman Central Kastrati, which affected the closure of several schools in this municipality.
