Robin Krasniqi has enjoyed the title of world champion in the semi-serious category on Saturday, with the school dance song “Besa Bese”, which has become a patriotic anthem among Albanians around the world.
Kosovo boxer Krasniqi, who fights under the German flag, defeated Dominic Boeselin with a crushing knockout in the third round in Magdeburg and was proclaimed world interim champion at the WBA and world champion in the IBO in the semi-serious category.
Boesel, 30, was defending his first career title after winning it in November last year.
But Krasniqi's right hand was so strong and fast that the German boxer fell like a big oak and the head slammed into the floor.
The boxer from Kosovo, who had lost the world champion wars in 2013 and 2015, lived the dream at the third try.
After Macchi, he was shot singing the famous “Besa Bese” song with a group of Albanians in Germany.
Krasniqi is heard singing “Trust, oath I gave you” in a video published by the New Born newspaper.
