Leaders of Western Balkan governments will make the next effort to advance the Schengen initiative in the Balkans.
Top Channel has learned that it will not be a similar meeting in Nis, Tirana or Ohrid, but will be held through the Zoom platform next week.
It remains of interest to see Kosovo's participation, even though the meeting will not be face-to-face but online.
We remember that one of the provisions of the agreement signed by Prime Minister Avdula Hoti at the White House is also the seat at the Balkan Schengen negotiating table.
During the visit to Skopje, Northern Macedonia counterpart Zoran Zaev reiterated the invitation to Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti, where he said Kosovo must approach the Balkan Schengen regional initiative in order to be a priority for the region, regardless of open political issues.
Zaev at the press conference confirmed the meeting with President Vuciq and Prime Minister Rama.
