Albanian defender is part of the Arsenal since the summer of 2016, when he was joined by the Spanish squad Valencia.
Albania's contract with Topcit expires in the summer of 2021, and the parties have yet to find new agreements on its continuation.
The London club has made several bids for a new contract to the 28-year-old protector, but the latter has refused all and today it has made it clear to the directors that it wants to leave with zero parameters at the end of the season.
According to the English media, the Albanian future seems to be on Italian football elite Serie A or German Bundesliga.
Lazio has been the most interested team in the defender, but prior to that, Naples and Rome have expressed interest in him.
A very good option for the Albanian is also the return to German football, where several teams are monitoring his situation and among them are Schalke 04, the Hotenheim of Stutgart.
The 28-year-old is expected to leave in next summer as a free player from Arsenal, while it appears that numerous bids in its direction are not missing
