The EU's special envoy for dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, Miroslav Lajcak, has found that all politicians are of reconciliation for Kosovo to honour signed agreements, including association in question.
It is a pleasure to say that at all meetings my partners expressed support for dialogue and understanding that dialogue is important. And they confirmed that Kosovo will respect all pledges, including the one for establishing the Association of Serb majority municipalities”, Lajcak said.
Lajcak met yesterday with all institutional leaders and leaders of political parties in Kosovo.
He further said there will be no normalisation of relations and final agreements with Serbia if Kosovo does not establish this association.
“Unless there is agreement there will be normalisation of relations. And there will be no deal without Association. Kosovo has taken over the pledge, signed it. Association is part of the process, part of the dialogue. We don't want to reopen the text, but we just want to improvise what they signed. I haven't met any partners during the three days that there is any problem with this matter”, Lajcak said. /Periscope
