Many countries, including the United States, are treating patients with COVID-19 (the disease caused by coronary blood plasma of patients cured by the disease.
Such treatment is done by taking blood plasma from patients cured by coronary patients because their blood has antibodies fighting the virus.
Transfusion of antibodies creates what is known as the Passive “immunity” to touch COVID-19.
However, World Health Organization has warned carefully about blood plasma treatment, since it has said that this treatment is of a weak “quality”.
Blood separation from plasma is made into blood transfusions. And this approach has been consistently applied to many diseases in Kosovo. Some infections at the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo have earlier told Free Europe Radio that they are ready for such a procedure if the decision is taken by competent authorities.
According to figures presented by the National Institute of Public Health, in Kosovo until October 27th, 15,198 persons have been cured by the Coronavirus.
