The Islamic Community of Kosovo condemned Thursday's attack in Nice, France, calling it the disgusting “kt” and “terrorist”, aimed at “intimidation and aggression of human and human values”.
We share the pain with the victims' families and the French people. Taking human life as well as accepting religious objects are actions that conflict with the principles of religions and teachings of the prophets”, the response of the Islamic Community of Kosovo says.
A Sunnisian citizen killed three people Thursday at the Notre-Dame Basilica in Nice.
France's president, Emmanuel Macron, named the incident “the Islamist terrorist attack”.
The attacker was shot by the police and is in critical condition for life.
Two of the victims died within the church -- a 60-year-old woman, who was beheaded, and a 55-year-old who was beheaded.
Another, 44, managed to escape to a nearby café after being stabbed several times but later died.
“Feet are not aimed at confrontations, violence and horrors, but are aimed at guiding and nobility our peoples and societies”, the Kosovo Islamic Community said.
