The Kosovo government today has begun implementing the Pack of economic recovery by releasing 60m euros to close to 37 thousand private businesses in Kosovo.
This money will go directly to the business account for the workers they've declared. More beneficiaries will be smaller businesses.
Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti, together with Minister Hykmete Bajrami, appeared at a news conference where they said this is among the first measures to be followed in the coming days and pledged that they would almost completely Sautre the damage that the pandemic caused.
“The measures that were introduced with this decision have been fully worked with businesses. So it's supposed to be us coming into the business economy that's been affected. The decision has been to provide an inclusion of businesses within the Pako for recovery. The commission has issued a final list of 36679 businesses will benefit 60m euros. 15,500 businesses that have had updated data have already received the support of 37.3m euros. The rest will be paid as soon as the data is updated.
Meanwhile, Minister Hykmete Bajrami said the coming days will benefit other schemes.
“We have been working day and night on drafting final lists. Today, we have over 15 thousand companies under way, and it has become a reimbursement for them. This afternoon and tomorrow morning these payments will be paid”.
Bajrami called on businesses to update their data, especially of accounts.
