Martin represented France in 31 matches and is best known for its presentations at the 1992 European Championships against England, Sweden and Denmark.
He was the trainer on the French national team from 1999 to 2010. France won the 2000 European Championship and was finalist at the 2016 World Cup during that time.
He fought 139 matches for Auxerre and 113 for Montpellier.
Noel Le Grayt, president of France's Football Federation, said Martini is part of French football history.
He knew how to serve others with technical experience, high level and human qualities”, he said.
He was an extraordinary man. Bruno is part of the French football story and we will not forget this”, he underlined.
