Real Madrid's captain, Sergio Ramos, may be missing in El Clascicon next week in La League, following the injury he suffered in Madrid's defeat against Cadiz on Saturday.
The Spanish protector suffered a severe kick on the left leg in the first leg and never returned to the field in the second half, with Eder Militto taking his place in defense.
Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane may have made this replacement more a precautionary measure, but he will be anxious until medical tests show the extent of his injury in the days ahead.
Ramos won't have much time to reactivate if his injury is serious, as Real Madrid hosts Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday at the Champions League opening match and visits Camp Nou on Saturday for the first El Classic in La League this season.
No less than 14 Real Madrid players have had physical problems since the beginning.Currently, Eden Hazard, Mariano, Martin Odegaard, Dani Carvaal, and Alvaro Audreyola face such problems.
