Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia have scored record new cases with COVIDD-19.
Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia have all reported their highest one-day growth in new cases with COVIDD-19, Reuters reports, broadcast news.net.
Croatia reported its largest increase in new daily Kostov-19 infections Thursday with 1,563 new cases, nearly half of which were in Zagreb, where there were more than doubled. The capital registered a record 705 new infections compared to 337 infections the previous day. So far, Croatia -- a country of about 4 million people -- has recorded 29,850 cases of 406 deaths. There are currently 7,380 active cases.
Neighboring Slovenia, with 2 million people, also reported a record high number of Thursday's daily cases, reaching 1,663 infections, broadcast news.
Meanwhile, Croatia's southeastern neighbour, Bosnia, also reported a record 999 new infections Thursday, bringing the total number of cases to the country of about 3.3 million people to 37,314, with 1,051 deaths.
