COVID-19 mortality rate in northern Macedonia rises by 71.4 percent

Only on Sunday, October 25th, 22 patients died from COVID-19 in northern Macedonia, which is highest in one day since the outbreak began.
A total of 13,993 tests have been conducted, or 5.9 percent more than last week, and 3,410 new positive cases or 27.4 percent more have been recorded.
The percentage of positive tests is 24 percent, and the most common is in the 30-39 age group (22 percent), followed by age groups over 60, (19.7 percent).
The largest number of newly infected is in Skopje 48.5 per cent, where the highest weekly incidence has registered 267.8 per 100,000.
According to the Public Health Institute report, which was published on the Health Ministry website, 1,566 people who were hospitalised or under house treatment were treated as treated in the last week, which is 477 more than a week ago.
