Azerbaijan's second largest city, Ghana, has been bombed by Armenian forces at the time the clashes are continuing over the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region.
Self-declared authorities in this region said they attacked Ghana's military airport after the reserve forces bombed the regional capital, Stepanckert, the BBC writes.
On the other hand, Azerbaijan said no military building in Ghana has been hit by attacks. Otherwise, more than 220 people have been killed since the outbreak of armed conflict a week ago.
There are fears that the actual number of victims among military personnel and civilians is higher since figures submitted by conflict sides have not been independently confirmed.
Azerbaijani forces said they have regained control in seven villages Sunday, while the Armenian-backed local forces said they have improved positions on the front line.
Earlier this week, Armenia said it is ready to engage with mediators from France, Russia and the United States in an effort to reach a ceasefire, Report Express broadcast.
In the meantime Azerbaijan, which is openly supported by Turkey, has called for the withdrawal of Armenian troops from Nagorno-Karabaku and areas occupied around the region.
