The SSC North America reported that its production, the super-veture Tuatara, reached the speed of 508km per hour during two different trials.
Tested on an 11km strip of land on a Nevada highway, it also broke the record of the greatest speed on a public road, marking more than 532km per hour. Two independent specialists were according to the SSC witnesses to the new world record.
