This decision by Coach Michael Arteta implies that the most paid player in the club, which takes down less than 383 thousand euros a week, will have no right to play for Arsenal until February at least.
But, in all likelihood, the German midfielder will never again play for Arsenal, the club in which he spent the last seven years after coming from Real Madrid in 2013.
Premierligla's rules stress that Arsenal has had the deadline to hand over the list of 25 football players Tuesday by 2: 00 a.m. local time (15:00 in Kosovo), which does not dare to be more than 17 foreign football players.
Arteta has 19 foreign football players on the team, which means two senior footballers cannot register for the first part of the season in Premierliga.
