Yesterday on 21 October, the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina has filed charges with Sami Lushtaku, his cousin Ibrahim Lushtak, and Jhelal Zeqiri. They are being charged with the criminal offence, while Ibrahim Lushtaku and Jhelal Zeqiri are also accused of serious attempted murder.
The incident has been set up by taking a document to damage Gazmend Halilaj on the social network “Facebook”, dated April 11, 2020, in which Sam Lushtaku was allegedly behind the misuse of 1.4 million marks during wartime. While Lushtaku had called Halilaj on the phone and asked her to remove those scriptures by insulting him and with the intention of intimidation, threatened him with the words “where you are that I have no money with lan”, where the injury has been caused by fear and anxiety.
Sami Lushtaku is being accused of committing criminal work “Canning” by Article 181 Pgraph 2 of the Penal Code. For this crime, the initial penalty is fined or in prison for up to a year.
According to the indictment, after attorney Gazmend Halilaj had written a text on the social network “Facebook”, on April 11, 2020, against Sami Lushtaku, his cousin Ibrahim Lushtaku, with the aim of revenge and in association with the accused Zeqiri, on April 14, 2020, had been detained by Halilaj.
According to the indictment, upon seeing Halilaj, accused Ibrahim Lushtaku in order to deprive him of his life has hit the injured Halilaj car hard, so that at the moment Halilaj was out of the car and was beginning to leave. According to the indictment, even the accused Lushtaku and Zeqiri had then stepped out of the car and fired guns towards Halilaj but had failed to hit him.
With these actions, the prosecution accuses Ibrahim Lushtaku and Xhelal Zeqiri of committing the criminal offence of the attempted serious murder.
Because it had caused damage at 2700 euros to the injured Halilaj car, Ibrahim Lushtaku is also accused of criminal offence or damage to property.
Ibrahim Lushtaku and Xhelal Zeqiri are also charged that, contrary to the gun law, they have carried arms without permission. Lushtaku is accused of holding a “type gun without permission Echo”, and Zeqiri a weapon called “Cervena Zastava”.
Both are charged with criminal work “keep ownership, control or unauthorized possession of weapons”
