The 13-year-old girl from Gjilan marries the person she met at Instagram: I beat his sister-in-law for not knowing how to make coffee

For Express from the girl's family, but also 13-year-olds have detailed the case.

I've had violence from his entire family. That's where they beat me. They're mean to me. I introduced that guy to the Instagram. Once we came out and after that this guy came in a car and took me back to”, said 13-year-old in the presence of her family.

She says she couldn't live in such a situation. In the meantime, the minor family has given their own version of the event.

From there they say that she had been told that she would also have problems with the law as a result of this marriage.

Whatever was violent, I told her come home because you can't keep standing like that”, they say from her family.

But this 13-year-old education is not continuing. She says that the school where she had followed her studies is no longer accepting her.

I'm enrolled in school. But they didn't see me anymore because of the shortages I was a few weeks”, she says.

And in Kosovo within a year, an average of 80 minor girls are married.

Yet, there are many other occasions when such young ones become pregnant. The last case occurred in Kosovo during the end of September of this year. A 14-year-old baby was born on September 30th.

Meanwhile, according to the United Nations Children's Fund, U n NICEF, a girl under 15 years, is five times more likely to die during pregnancy or childbirth than a woman in her 20s. When a mother is under 18 years old, the prospect of her baby dying during the first year is 60 percent higher than if a baby is born from a mother over 19.
