A 6.6-strong earthquake has rocked the coast of Izmir in Turkey. Strong muscles have been felt in Istanbul, Izmir, Canakkale, Denizli, Bursa and Greece.
So far reportedly at least 12 victims and more than 400 injuries have been found in Turkey. While in Samos, Greece, two children have lost their lives, 15 and 17-year-olds who have been taken down by a wall.

The powerful quake shocked two states, Greece and Turkey. The Associated Press speaks of at least 20 buildings destroyed in the Turkish town of Izmir -- the third largest in the country -- in Bornova and Bayrakli. The era of violent earthquake has been near Turkish coasts in the Aegean and near the Greek island of Samos. The shocks have felt strong until Athens and Istanbul. Eyewitnesses show how people ran terrified in the streets when the earth trembled.
