Gazeta Blic sources close to these two political parties have suggested that Albin Kurti's party has offered an additional ministry Isa Mustafa's LDK. And that with the sole purpose, that Vetevendosje continue to hold the post of Speaker of the Parliament.
“In the last bid Vetevendosje has made to the LDK, it is envisioned that Isa Mustaf's party has 7 ministries. This increase in the number of ministries has been made in order for Vetevendosje to continue holding the post of Speaker of the Parliament, where Glauk Konjufca was elected on December 26th. This offer was made to the LDK during these two days”, this source said.
According to this source, the new offer includes increasing the number of ministries.
The same source argues that the LDK, except for 7 ministries, will also have the right to propose the mandate name for the president's post next year, when expected to expire the current president's mandate.
As it is known, in the beginning Vetevendosje and LDK had agreed that the government would have only 12 ministries, but that Kurti also publicly through a video message had demanded that this number increase to 14, adding to a ministry of LDK and a minority.
The LDK had rejected such an offer, insisting that VV return the post of Speaker of the Parliament until the president's election, while the number of ministries remains 5 to 5.
Even LDK chairmanship member Kujtim Shala said on last night's Blic InterView show with Astrit Gashi that the VV should give up the post of Chief Parliamentary, because according to him, failure of the agreement makes no sense.
During the day, the paper has tried to officially speak to both the LDK and the VV for the latest offer of Kurti's party, where the LDK has been offered additional acting minister of the Parliament's chairman, but none of the parties in question has agreed to give details.
The country's president, Hashim Thaci, has nominated Albin Kurti, as the candidate for prime minister, who has yet 10 days to form the new Government.
Otherwise, in recent elections Vetevendosje came the first party with 29 deputies, followed by LDK with 28, and third, it was listed The PDK with 23 deputies, followed by the AAK with 13 and the 6 deputies Initiative.
